Maca Truffles

An energy boosting therapeutic snack free of refined sugar.

Equipment

  • Food processor

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup raw maca powder
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder or raw cacao powder
  • 1 cup nut butter Use almond, walnut, sunbutter, or a combo
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1-2 tbsp raw honey
  • pinch sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • pinch cayenne optional

Instructions
 

  • If you're using pre-made nut butter, just add to food processor and process with honey, coconut oil, and vanilla
  • Mix all the dry ingredients together separately.
  • Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, and process everything together.
  • Taste to correct seasonings. Add a little water if needed.
  • Roll into balls and dust with additional cocoa or carob powder.
  • Chill in fridge for at least an hour. They'll keep for weeks.
