Maca Truffles
An energy boosting therapeutic snack free of refined sugar.
- 1/2 cup raw maca powder
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder or raw cacao powder
- 1 cup nut butter Use almond, walnut, sunbutter, or a combo
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
- 1-2 tbsp raw honey
- pinch sea salt
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- pinch cayenne optional
If you're using pre-made nut butter, just add to food processor and process with honey, coconut oil, and vanilla
Mix all the dry ingredients together separately.
Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, and process everything together.
Taste to correct seasonings. Add a little water if needed.
Roll into balls and dust with additional cocoa or carob powder.
Chill in fridge for at least an hour. They'll keep for weeks.
